The Morning After
It's no secret that I'm out of shape, but you never know just how out of shape you are until the morning after the first day of exercise. When I first stepped out of bed this morning, my legs felt like hundred-pound lead pipes, my low back, like a rubber band stretched to within a millimeter of its life and don't even get me started on my no-good hips and knees. But did that stop me from getting out and walking? Hell to the NO! Rob joined me and I can't believe how fast it went by. I even managed to get in two 30-second sprints. I'm actually feeling that mythical "exercise high" despite my aches and pains. Wow!
