Candida Update and My Supplements

I completed the two month supplement routine as described in my first candida blog post. It has worked wonders with the food cravings (gone, baby, gone) as Kelley Eidem promised. I'm still having some eye issues that may need to be addressed with an Ophthalmologist but all the other yeast-related problems are gone. I have kept a couple of the supplements from Mr. Eidem's protocol in my daily routine because I love the benefits they offer. Olive leaf extract is a natural antibiotic, anti-viral and anti-fungal. Working in health care, especially during cold and flu season, this is something I don't want to be without. PB8 (probiotic) aids the digestive and immune systems. The probiotic really keeps gas, bloating and burping at bay.

Here are the other supplements I take each day.

Omega-3 fish oil capsules~ I buy the Kirkland Signature brand from Costco because they are good quality and don't have any fishy smell or aftertaste.

Alive Whole Food Energizer multivitamin~ best multi ever!

Folic Acid~ I started taking a folic acid supplement in 1999 when I had an abnormal pap smear. I had to have a small procedure to remove the bad cells. I learned that folic is very important to female reproductive health so I began taking it and have had normal pap tests ever since.

Fiber~Oh, the magic that is fiber. So magical it deserves its own post. Coming soon!

Fine Print~ Always follow the dosage directions of any supplements you're taking or the advice of your doctor or alternative health care practitioner/herbalist. If you're on medically prescribed medication be sure to check for possible interactions before adding any supplements to you routine.

  1. Thank you for your resounding support. Isn't great how well this works?

By the way, Let me make a tiny correction. I am not a doctor. If I had been one, this recipe probably would have slipped past me as aI prescribed another antibiotic to my patients...and I don't have any patients (or patience either LOL.)

Also would you be a sweetie and include a link to my hub page on this entry of yours? Thanks. And congratulations!

    The best to you.
