Does Barry Manilow know you raid his wardrobe?

I was very saddened to hear about the death of director John Hughes. He directed some of the funniest, most timeless, and even poignant films of all time. The 80's are immortalized by his classics Sixteen Candles, The Breakfast Club and Weird Science. My formative years were spent watching these films over and over. I know all the dialogue and still laugh out loud when I catch them on television.

Thank you, Mr. Hughes. Thank you for Molly Ringwald, for Long Duk Dong, for Chet, for oily variety beau-hunks, for making geeks chic, for making high school seem a little less serious.

We won't forget about you.
