Book Review: Vampires Don't Sleep Alone

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

When I learned that my friend, Beth (the mastermind behind one of my major obsessions, the perfumes of Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab) was publishing a book, I could not wait to get my hands on it. Writing alongside D.H. Altair AKA Del Howison, proprietor of Dark Delicacies, Beth takes us on a memorable journey into vampire lore, history and myth-busting.

With dark wit, a wink and tongue firmly in cheek, this conversational and instructional manual is the foremost source in how to find and (hopefully) ensnare the vampire of your dreams.

I laughed out loud in many places and frankly, couldn't put it down. I'm a fan of "The Twilight Saga", JR Ward's "Black Dagger Brotherhood" series and the television series "True Blood" so it's no wonder that I enjoyed "Vampires Don't Sleep Alone."

If you are a fan of vampire fiction, especially romance, this volume is the perfect companion. Definitely do not overlook it!

  1. I somehow have skipped the whole vampire lit thing but then my husband raved about The Strain by Guillermo Del Toro. I picked it up and can't put it down. Just the thought that a vampire virus could hit NYC! Now I only feel safe in the sunlight!
