I was flipping through Health magazine yesterday and these words caught my eye...

Follow the 80/20 rule. Eat quality foods (whole grains, lean protein, fruits and vegetables) 80% of the time rather than trying to be perfect.

Thunderbolt moment! Turns out it was an advertisement for Intel of all things but that doesn't make the statement any less valuable. The 80/20 strategy along with eliminating processed crap (if I'm going to indulge, it's going to be on something best quality and worth it) and getting daily physical activity, a healthy lifestyle is something that can be achieved and maintained.

  1. I find that hard to do sometimes...its like the healthiest foods are the more expensive!

  2. LOVE it! That is a true thunderbolt moment. . . Kinda breaks it down to a simple formula :)
