New Goodie: Sun Chlorella, Review, Giveaway and Bonus!

The Sun Chlorella USA Company was kind enough to send me a sampler pack of their products to review.  The package contained a 20-day supply of tablets, 20-day supply of granules and a generous baggie full of samples of their other products including packets the Sun Chlorella skin cream.

I took the tablets for the full 20 days.  The dosage is 15 tablets up to 45 tablets a day.  I took the 15 tabs per day, they are very tiny and very easy to swallow.

I believe that it is best to nourish your body by eating a variety of healthy foods, getting plenty of fresh air and sunshine, good quality sleep and exercise.  But there are a few supplements that I take every day.  Will sun-chlorella become one of them?

According to their website Sun Chlorella USA’s products delivers many essential nutrients your body craves~
Fiber~ One serving of Sun Chlorella contains more dietary fiber than many leading fruits and vegetables.

Prebiotics~ Sun Chlorella works as a prebiotic that helps promote the growth of good bacteria and improve your body’s digestive health.

Greens~ One serving is equivalent to one serving of fresh green vegetables (without the pesticides)!

Protein~ Ounce-for-ounce, chlorella has more protein than steak or soy.

Chlorophyll~ Sun Chlorella has the highest chlorophyll levels of any plant-based food source. This aids in expelling harmful toxins from the body, providing natural and gentle detoxification.
Sounds like so many other "superfood supplement" claims, many of which prove to be total bunk.  That is until you get to the last one.  Detoxification!  Oh my goodness, chlorella moved me.  Yup, I have been pooping like a rock star.  You know that awesome light feeling you get when your colon is working at its peak?  Well, that is what sun chlorella did for me since the very first dose.

The skin on my face is a road map of what is going on in my body so this detoxification has made a lovely impact on my skin, as well.  I didn't get that little chin spot that loves to accompany my period every month.  Dry spots are gone, oily spots are gone.  My face is dewy, rosy and glowy.  That's the clincher for me.  As long as my skin stays looking this nice, I'm going to keep taking the chlorella.  I'm happy that I have another 20 day supply, although I did not find the granules as pleasant to take as the tablets.

I also used all 6 of the sample packets of the skin cream.  J'adore!  The cream is pricey but I think I may splurge on it when my current skin cream runs out.  It's light yet rich and a little goes a long way.  I squeezed about 4 uses from each 1 gram packet.

Now on to the fun stuff...

  1. Okay, I have to say that I kept reading 'cholera' instead of 'chlorella' LOL!

The cream sounds really nice, but the honey? That is one expensive bottle of honey at $178!

  2. Have you noticed any benefits in the realm of gas/flatulence? I once had a home health worker recommend chlorophyl to me for those reasons. She said they give it to patients with ostomy bags to help with the odor. It did seem to work, but tasted foul and stained my white sink. Tablets seem like a better nicer delivery mechanism.

  3. Kaki, yes, definitely less gas. I hadn't thought of it until you mentioned it. We ladies like to think we don't toot. ;) I'm going to have to start giving it to my husband.

  6. Sounds like it's definitely worth a try-- I'd love to see if I get the same results with my skin that you did! In going through the site, it looks like their products are good for stress-control, too, and that's something I could definitely use!
